INTEGRITY CLUB :-

APRIL-MAY 2012

♣ Organisation of YCE ( Young CHampions of Ethics ) club including new members from class-VI.

♣ Club meetting was held to select leaders and group leaders. Six groups comprising of 6 members each were formed.

♣ Each group were alloted values. 1. Patriotism 2. Secularism 3. Honesty

4. Compassion 5. Respect 6. Unity

JULY-2012

♣ An orientation regarding objectives/vision was done. Prominent personalities in different fields were identified.

♣ Planning was done for activities of August month.

AUGUST-2012

♣ 6th August 2012- observed " Hiroshima Day" during morning assembly & Poster presentation.

MATHS CLUB :-

♣ Formation of Ramanujan Maths Club on 26.06.2012.Office bearers, advisors and student members selected for variouos activities of the club.

♣ Monthly activity plan was prepared.

♣ Ramanujan MAths Club was inaugurated by Sri.Chandrasekharan, Asso.Professor of Mathematics,University College,Trivandrum in morning assembly on 12.07.2012.

♣ A seminar was also conducted on the topic "Ancient Indian Mathematics & their contribution on Trigonometry".

♣ A club meetting was conducted on 14/07/2012 &21/07/2012.

♣ Poster Making competition for classes VI-X conducted on 21/07/2012.

♣ "History and developement of Mathematics" a topic given for Display Board decoration for the month of July.

♣ " Mathematical Talent Search Quiz" -1 phase was conducted on 30.07.2012. Second phase will be conducting on 1st week of August.

SCIENCE CLUB :-

♣ A unit of Science Club was organised in our vidylaya during May-2012. A list of students were perpared for various club activities.

♣ Science Club inaugurated in the month of July,2012.A club meeting held and discussed future plan/activitiess during academic year 2012-13. A spech delivered by the club I/C regarding importance of science in our daily life.

NATURE & ECO CLUB :-

APRIL-MAY 2012

♣ 40 students participated in the Global Ayurveda Ceremony held at Conference Hall,MAscot Hotel.

♣ April 22nd celebrated as " Earth Day " and took 30 students to CESS,Trivandrum.

JULY-2012

♣ The club inaugurated on 21st July,2012 for various activities of the current academic year.

♣ Medicinal Plant Garden maitained by class-IX-A.

♣ Banana plantation maintained by IX-B.

ADVENTURE CLUB :-

♣ The first meetting was conducted on 21.07.2012.

♣ Boys & Girls leaders were selected by mass votting.

♣ The responsibilities & duties were discussed with the members & leaders.

♣ The benefits & for what purpose the club is made was explained to the members.

♣ Adventure Trips will be conducting during in the month of May.

HEALTH & HYGIENE CLUB :-

APRIL-MAY- 2012

♣ Launched the National school Sanitation Initiative in the Vidyalaya.

♣ Every Saturday Health club members gave a health talk in the morning Assembly.

♣ Members took keen interest in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in and around the school premises.

♣ Members visited the Regional Cancer Centre and donated medicines worth Rs 25000 to the poor patients.
